Winning Gold with Team USA at Bocuse D’Or After 9 months of intense work, Team USA won the gold medal at Bocuse d'Or for the first time in the competition's 30 year history! Our role was to develop a number of custom tools and design the team’s winning presentation. An in depth story about this epic journey is told in Chasing Bocuse, a book by Philip Tessier, including three short essays by Martin Kastner.
It was a privilege to work with the highly talented Team USA and we are honored to be back for the Bocuse d’Or 2019 effort with candidate chef Matthew Kirkley (Coi, San Francisco) and commis Mimi Chen. Be a part of this journey and support the Ment’or BKB Foundation. This non-profit was created to build a sustainable community of young American culinary professionals, and among its other activities also coordinates the Team USA’s efforts.
